Becky McIntyre - Office Manager and Registered Dental Hygienist
As Dr. McIntyre’s wife, Becky has been around dentistry ever since they got married. However, after their youngest son started elementary school, she returned to college and earned her dental hygiene degree from VA Western Community College in 1997. She loves dentistry because it gives her the opportunity to help our patients improve their life and become healthier and happier. Becky’s first love is her amazing husband and six wonderful children, their spouses, and of course the 19 BEST grandchildren. She loves spending time with the family and spends most of her vacation time traveling around the country to see all of them. In her spare time, she enjoys flower gardening, reading, and working with the teenagers at her church.

Tara Kenney – Assistant Office Manager
Tara was born and raised here in the Valley. She enjoys spending time with her family and doing things outdoors such as hiking, kayaking, and camping.
Tara says that she loves our office because it is always filled with fun and laughter and because we want to give our patients a warm experience at each visit. She is so thankful to be part of a team that cares and wants the best for their patients.

Jody Cook - Treatment Coordinator
Jody was born and raised here in Bridgewater. She graduated from Turner Ashby High School and Massanutten Technical Center in 1990. She has always been involved with dentistry in some way since graduating. She has worked in General Dentistry, Oral Surgery, and Endodontics. She has three children that she is very proud of and encourages them to be the best they can be.

Nicole Ware-Stobbs - Financial Coordinator
Nicole is from the Bridgewater area. She was in the dental field for years before taking a break to stay home with her two children. Now she is working front office to help you schedule your treatment with Dr. Whiting.
In her free time she loves attending her sons basketball and baseball games. She enjoys camping with her family, attending church, and spending time with friends.
Haley Conley - New Patient and Marketing Coordinator
Haley was born in Chicago, IL. Her parents were both in the Navy and her mother was transferred to Maryland, which is where Haley mainly grew up. She went to college at Bridgewater College and graduated with an English degree. She has worked in Marketing at other jobs but never for dental.
She loves the team because of how uplifting we are and how patient focused we are. She is currently engaged and getting married in October of 2022. She has a rescue dog named Duke who makes her world turn. She loves going to the lake, playing with her dog, and shopping. She also enjoys spending time with her family going camping and eating blue crabs!

Shana graduated from Broadway in 2011 and Blue Ridge in 2013. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has two daughters and a baby boy. She loves to run and is always doing things outside with family and friends.
She has always been interested in teeth and why they’re so important to keep clean. She loves being able to help people and bring up their esteem and confidence with a new smile.

Cathy has been a dental hygienist at Smiles for life for 21 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 1999 from West Liberty University. There she was awarded the Comprehensive Patient Care Award. Cathy has been married to her husband, Scott, for 28 years and they have an 18 year old daughter, Erin, who is attending EMU. Cathy enjoys hiking in the Shenandoah National Park, working out to stay in shape, and exploring nature. Her rescue cats Dante and Artemis bring a lot of adventure to her life.
Cathy says that she loves that we continue to strive for excellence and that we are always learning. She values relationships with her patients. By teaching her patients good oral hygiene, she can not only enhance their smile, but influence their overall health.

Morgan Propst - Registered Dental Hygienist
Morgan is one of our Registered Dental Hygienists. She earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from VA Western Community College in 2020.
Morgan was born and raised in the Valley and currently resides in Harrisonburg with her significant other, Matt, and their sons Ashton 9 and Grayson 3. They will also be welcoming another baby boy in December 2021. Morgan enjoys spending time with her family and spends most of her time outdoors hiking. She also enjoys vacationing at the beach every summer.
Though new to the dental field, Morgan is excited to make this a life long career. She loves educating her patients on ways to improve their dental and overall health, and helping them achieve beautiful smiles.
Monica Mathusek - Registered Dental Hygienist
Monica graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the Utah College of Dental Hygiene in April 2010. She thoroughly enjoys working with people to become their healthiest through caring for their oral health.
Monica and her husband Scott have been married for several amazing and adventurous years. They have three energetic boys that love brushing their teeth!
Monica and her family enjoy playing wiffle ball, hiking, biking, and having silly dance-offs at home (just family). They also own a small family business so they can teach their boys the value of working hard.

As a child, she spent a lot of time pretending to be a dentist, and her mom was her number one patient! She is now a mother to a beautiful and sweet 6 year old girl. In her free time, she loves spending time with her daughter and doing any activity involving the outdoors.

Antonia Paz - Dental Assistant
Antonia graduated from the dental assisting program at Massanutten Technical Center in 2018, following graduation she was offered a position in a pediatric office. Although she loved educating the younger minds about oral health, Antonia was ready to widen her own horizons. That’s when she landed a spot at Smiles for Life. Antonia appreciates and values how much dedication Dr. Whiting and Dr. McIntyre put into their patients to make sure they succeed the extra mile. Antonia feels privileged that she is allowed to be on the same journey.
Recently Antonia and her significant other moved into the peaceful town of Singers Glen. Along with transitioning into new home owners, Antonia enjoys spending time with family and friends. Also Antonia loves to travel and in-between these activities, she always finds time to spectate the local demolition derbies.
Antonia is currently enrolled at LFCC to become a Dental Hygienist; she is excited for the future and is so grateful that she has the opportunity to continue to flourish at Smiles for Life.
Faith Lam - Dental Assistant
Faith is from Elkton, VA and graduated from East Rockingham High School. She has 3 children and a wonderful husband that she loves spending time with in her free time!
Faith had no dental experience until she took the Smiles for Life Assist to Succeed class and got offered a position after graduation. She has been with us since April 2018 and loves what she does here. She really enjoys being a part of implant surgeries and being a part of patients’ treatment from start to finish.
